#What we collect when you visit
This site is deliberately boring from a data standpoint. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into and nothing to comment on, so we hold no reader accounts and no personal profiles. Like virtually every website, our hosting server keeps technical access logs — the page requested, the time, a truncated IP address and the browser type — which we use only to keep the site secure and to spot broken pages. These logs are rotated and permanently deleted within 30 days.
The only third-party request this site makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the Rubik and Inter typefaces. Google may see your IP address when your browser downloads a font file; that is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Everything else — every image, chart and line of code — is served from this domain.
#Cookies and tracking
CoinLadder sets zero cookies. We run no analytics platform, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting scripts and no A/B testing frameworks. We measure readership the old-fashioned way: aggregate, privacy-preserving server statistics that tell us which pages were requested, never who requested them.
#How we make money and why it does not bend our scores
CoinLadder is funded by a small media grant and by the editors' consulting work outside this publication. We do not run display ads, we do not sell placements, and we do not operate affiliate programs that pay per signup. Some articles link to the official websites of products we review — for example velmato.com or fenmaro.com — purely so readers can find the product. Those links carry no tracking parameters and earn us nothing. Scores, rankings and verdicts are set exclusively through the testing protocol described on our about page, and vendors never see reviews before publication.
#Corrections policy
When we get something wrong — a price that changed, a feature we misjudged — we fix the article, update its "last updated" date and, for material errors, add a note describing what changed. You can report an error by writing to the editorial desk at the address in our footer; every correction request is read by an editor, not a form handler.
#General data rights
Because we hold no personal data about readers, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact the editorial desk and we will confirm and erase it. This page is reviewed twice a year; the next scheduled review is November 2026.
